Day 94 – 20th November
Posted by TravellingStrom on November 20, 2008
Well, today is a rest day for me. I needed some time off and this seemed an ideal place. Woke up a bit crook, then Al and I had a great breakfast down at the Surfing Cow, before Al headed off towards Sydney. The weather looked OK for a start. I noticed his Vstrom had some weird type of tyres on it, never heard of them, but they look road only, called Lasertec.
So, I had a quiet day, updated all the missing days and did some research and read a book and watched the first cricket test. After lunch we got pelted with rain, absolutely bucketed down and thunder and lightning. I am glad I was not riding in it, Al was, but as I found out later he got caught near Singleton and stopped there.
Later in the afternoon I wandered down to the bar for happy hour and also a great feed. They had this gadget on a shelf, which looked interesting, it was not active but this is where VB comes from 🙂 It has a small pump and a light, apparently they used to fill it with beer on occasions 🙂
And here is Jenny, tonight’s staff, yesterday was Thea, Leah was also there but no photo, nor of Dan the boss.
I had an early evening to make up for last night.
Day – 0km
Trip – 29,641km
