Day 255– 20th August 09

Thursday – Hyder, Alaska
Well, another easy day to write up. I woke up late and a bit crook, it did not help with the fact I have a touch of the wog, so I basically lazed around and did nothing. Late in the afternoon I decided to get the blog entry finished for the other day, so I went up to the bar and plonked myself in the corner and had a boring afternoon uploading one photo at a time. After about 3 hours or so it was done, or so I thought and I could actually post something. It was hard to test properly because by now more travellers were using the bandwidth. I ended up helping a lady with a laptop issue, she could not get on the net with her system, but I diagnosed it as a Internet Explorer fault and installed Opera on for her and everything was hunky dory after that. Of course she shouted me a beer, which I had to soak up with one of these 🙂
And that was pretty much it for the night, I had a Tequila slammer and a rum, but it was not working, I was still not feeling the best, probably the wog, so I hit the sack, tomorrow did not look good for travelling, but I needed to start moving again.
