Day 389 – 1st January 2010

Posted by TravellingStrom on January 1, 2010

Friday – Potosi, Bolivia

I hope the hair of the dog works

A big sleep in and I eventually ventured out about 3pm or so. The rest of the group had just finished a late roast chook lunch, so I hoed into the leftovers 🙂 They were also having a drink and as there seemed to be a lot of Vodka left from last night, I decided to try a hair of the dog that bit me, called Natasha while up above the cloud formation to my bleary eyes looked like a mans head.

The rest of the arvo passed with some chit chat with Gino who is still very sore, and a group of other Aussies who were also staying here. They live in Brazil and are here on holiday, sitting around playing 500 🙂

Alana and Mike rocked in with their camera and started to interview the couples for their documentary and organising others for the next day.

Later that evening we headed into town for a feed, my photos did not reflect exactly what I saw, but pretty close 🙂

So, we had some dinner and some drinks and this included a chat with some Swedish looking girls, who it turns out were actually Dutch 🙂 They left after getting fed up with not getting served, they had been there an hour, TIB = This Is Bolivia.

Day – 0 miles and 0 km
Trip – 47,937 miles and 77,147 km
