Anyone For Some Camel Toe?

Posted by TravellingStrom on September 15, 2012

Mayan Prophecy Countdown

Not much going on today, worked on the bike of course, but only a bit, mainly did some blogging and general relaxing, it was Saturday after all πŸ™‚

That evening the 7 remaining members of the China Group headed out for dinner. Now, during one of my bus rides through the city, Nacho had spotted this pub called the Camel Toe, it seemed like a fun place to be on a Saturday night, so although we only had a vague idea where it was, we grabbed a bus and headed into town. This was a long journey as the streets were packed, but we did get there eventually and took the required photos πŸ™‚

Well, it was false advertising, because it says an English Pub, but it was closed to the public? No way would a pommy pub be closed on a Saturday night, and there was a table of drinkers inside but they told us to nick off, it must be a private party, bummer 😦 Never mind, we had passed another pub in a German style just up the road a ways, so we headed there and finally found food, and beer of course, that goes without question πŸ™‚ From left to right we have David, Lorraine, Myself, Nacho, Neil, Iain and Chris

So, the evening turned out OK, the food was nice and the beer was beer and the company great. Of course, although we would all now be going our separate ways, most of us were heading south to the Thailand/Cambodia/Laos area, with maybe some detours into VietNam and Myanmar, but those last two would be on rental bikes as anything over 250cc is not allowed. Some were going to China first, some had not made up their minds, I was one of those undecided as yet.

There were more beers and vodka back at the Oasis, as expected πŸ™‚

Cheers from
