Next day I had slept in till after midday, bummer, but it did not matter. I was a tad crook, to be expected, but I did not have far to go really, I said goodby to Byron and his wife Bom
Then I hit the road, I needed to get somewhere, anywhere as I had been stalled for too long in Cairns.
I was too crook for any dirt so I took the inland route and headed north
I reckoned if I could get to Lakefield, it would be a good spot to stay, just before the hard yards and the dirt sections.
A couple of views from one of the ranges
Before arriving at Lakefield Caravan park. Not much to sprike about here, it was expensive and got nothing much in return. But I had a campsite
I had a nap, then some tucker up the pub, but I wanted rest most of all as I was fatigued. I had an early night for a change.
