It was cold this morning again, so I slept in but finally got motivated around 10am. I grabbed some bus info and headed to town. I was leaving the bike at the tent so I did not have to worry about traffic 🙂 I bought a day pass ticket for all transport and the bus took me to a train station, I then had an hours ride to Flinders Street station. I used a public phone and booked my bike in for a diagnostic test, but the earliest time was the Thursday after Melbourne Cup 😦
I had a bit of lunch before finding an internet cafe and updating a few things. There was free internet at the caravan park, but I had problems connecting, so I loaded photos onto my USB stick and uploaded from here. The connection was crap and kept dropping out and the chap did not charge me anything for it.
I bought a 2G SD card for my TomTom, so I can add maps to it and walked around for a while. Although it was sunny, it was cold with a very chill wind, I did not look out of place with my beaney on 🙂
I headed back around 3 and of course this was a bad mistake, it was school kids rush hour 🙂 I eventually managed to get back and sorted out the internet at the park. I also spoke with a chap called Greg who was following my blog and was interested in hooking up on the Great Ocean Road. That was the plan in the morning, so I had an early night.
